At Malwatte Valley Plantations, our ISO 22,000 certified factories date back to 1934 and produce some of Sri Lanka’s finest teas. A grower, manufacturer and exporter with 4,500 hectares of tea in Uva region, our crops are exposed to the perfect high mountain weather that produce distinctly unique tea which is word-renowned, ranging from Black, Green and white to other novelty infusions. Our exemplary Tea Plantation Model also encompasses small farmers in the vicinity. We not only purchase their leaves, but also give them guidance with agricultural inputs. The company also takes pride in sharing its profits with its workforce.

Variety Tea Bags

Taste a variety of Sri Lanka’s finest blended and single-origin teas in the convenience of tea bags, packed in individual sachets to retain maximum flavor. Ranging from the usual green tea to the unique roasted rice tea, there is a Malwatte tea bag with a flavor for everyone.
Apart from convenience, tea bags also help make the perfect cup of tea. The amount of leaves is measured before being bagged, and the ease of removing the leaves from hot water ensures that your cup of tea tastes its best.

Speciality Gift Collection

A special moment calls for a special taste – exactly what our gift collection offers. You can select from a range of black, green, and white teas, or tea mixed with natural spices and fruits. Our gift collection also includes a rare Mandarin tea. The Mandarin tea is made from mandarin fruits picked from our very own fields. These are carefully filled with premium Uva tea and vacuum dried to retain maximum quality.
