Vincit Estate
Vincit Estate is located in the Sabaragamuwa Province in the Kegalle District of Sri Lanka. This estate enjoys a tropical climate with an impressive annual rainfall of approximately 6334.4 mm, providing ideal conditions for rubber and tea cultivation.
The plantation’s history is believed to date back to around 1892. Positioned at an elevation of 120 meters above sea level. Vincit Estate contains an extent of 369.44 Hectares.
This estate maintains an average rubber yield of 771kgs per hectare, resulting in an average product of around 166,000 kilograms .
A dedicated workforce of around 150 individuals contributes significantly to the its continued success.
This estate was nationalized in 1975, and came under Janatha Estates Development Board until 1992,after which it transitioned to private management, and presently managed by Malwatte Valley Plantations PLC.
This estate’s factory, notable for being the first centrifuged Latex factory in Sri Lanka. Though the exact year of it construction is not known, the factory continues to produce high quality latex products. VinciT estate primarily manufactures centrifuged latex and skim and the selling mark of “VINCIT”, and falls within Low Country elevational category.
CINNAMON CULTIVATION
Vincit Estate has diversified its agricultural output by cultivating Cinnamon with 78.11 hectares dedicated to this spice. Out of this extent 48.11hecataares are being harvested.
A well equipped Cinnamon factory located in the Talduwa Division processes between 1875 to 2000kilgrams of Cinnamon per month. The Estate has received the significant certifications to ensure the quality of production including
