Malwatte Valley Plantation Company a Grower, Manufacturer and an Exporter stands tall In the plantation sector owning the very creme of the gardens in the beautiful land of Sri Lanka. The Company was incorporated in 1992, and since then have been expanding the portfolio from A Tea and Rubber Plantations to Spices and Fruits as well. The Company owns the best of the Tea Gardens in the Badulla-Hali Ela, Bandarawela and Welimada Regions, manufacturing the best of “Uva HIgh” and “Uva Medium” Teas fetching high prices at the Colombo Tea Auctions during the Quality Seasons.

The Export Arm of Malwatte Valley has done well over the years contributing to the growth of the company, by developing exports of Tea, Rubber and Spices. We are proud of exporting our own produce to the rest of the World. We have catered to markets such as Russia, USA, China, Hong Kong, Germany, Pakistan and Austria. In the Year Exports of the Company contributed ……% to the earnings of the Company.

We have a well-equipped stores’ complex which can hold 1.3+ MKgs of Tea with an excellent racking system. It also has a mechanical Tea Blending Unit which can blend 2500 Kgs of tea at a time. This has certainly added value to our Exports as a Model Plantation Company proud of their own inhouse facilities.

Malwatte Valley sales outlet is open to the visitors during weekdays and you will see a range of our products on sale. Carefully picked and manufactured teas of our own gardens are ready for the consumers. “Uva” Seasonal Teas, Specialty Tea Range, Mandarin, and Mango Natural Flavored Teas, Spiced Teas Like Cinnamon are among the well sought for teas in our outlet.

INTERNATIONAL PARTNERSHIPS

Apart from Tea one could have the privilege of purchasing the best hand picked and carefully packed spices that are being brought from our own gardens. Cinnamon, Cardamom, Cloves and Black Pepper are among the best sought for spices in our outlet.

Rubber, which is part of our plantations, takes another important place in exports of the Malwatte Valley portfolio. The Company has been shipping their main product of Blanket Crepe to Germany, USA, Nepal, Pakistan, USA and Austria.
